Ways people clear

People clear the emotions they don’t need to carry in a variety of ways. You may instinctively know how you best clear. For my own clients I have been giving them their own personal ways if they aren’t already aware. The variety is endless, this post gives a sample.

My own husband uses his hands. So when he is in the shed or doing something around the house, he is clearing. For my son, his is the same. Even if he is using his hands to pick up a basket ball, he clears. It is movement combined with focus. So if you have a partner that just needs to ‘go out into the garage/shed’ let them.

For many people water is a good way to wash off as a physical way, the energy of others. A great way to clear off absorbed emotions. Use this method as an empath. For example, as you come in from your day wash your hands with the intention of clearing off what you don’t need. The shower is also a great way to intentionally see what you are washing away. Visualise what doesn’t serve you being washed off each part of the body and going down the drain.

Sound or music is another. As you listen to a song your mind gets a chance to come back into balance. This assists if you are a soul which needs to have a focus other than the emotion.

Some may need to really feel the emotion. Allowing it to be fully experienced so that it doesn’t stay.

For some it is to talk. Each person, and where they are up to with their throat chakra work, may need to talk through some of their emotions. But not everyone clears this way.

Meditation can be a way to clear. The focus of the mind as it stills, gives the mind a chance to rebalance. If you are an energetic healer or work with energy this method is one of the most powerful. Combined with breath-work or just done in stillness, this gives the intuitive knowing the lead. This is my main method.

Movement is a big method for most. You know you feel better after a work-out or being out in the open air doing something to move your body. Even a gentle stroll or a dance around the living room will assist. Aiming to move each day will help you stay on top of your built up emotions.

Writing down your feelings is another great way to sort through what is underneath the initial big emotions. Get a pen or type it out. As you write down the scenario give the emotion a name. Give it a name then let it go. The next one will come up. Keep writing until you feel there is nothing left. If you feel you need to be left without anything to look at, burn the paper. Often combining the writing method with fire is very therapeutic.
